That's even going to take it to another level in the years to come.

But before we get to that, let's talk about the power of recovery. Recovery is often overlooked, but not in 2024. The recovery trend is all about giving your body the care it deserves. We're talking about strategies like foam rolling, infrared saunas, even cryotherapy. These methods aren't just for elite athletes, they're for anyone looking to reduce soreness, improve flexibility and speed up muscle repair. Recovery isn't a luxury, it's a necessity and it's finally getting the attention it deserves.

Following that trend, we've got the mind-bottom connection we're hearing all about. It's more than just a buzzword. It's a transformative trend. This trend emphasizes the profound link between mental and physical health. Practices like meditation, breath work, mindfulness or gaining traction, because they provide holistic wellness. By harnessing the power of your mind, you can enhance your workouts, do stress and anxiety and even boost your immune system. It's a trend that's paving the way for a healthier, much happier you Following that. We've got the home workouts reimagined. Who needs a gym when you can bring the gym to your home? Home workouts are being reimagined in 2024. With streaming fitness platforms and interactive equipment, you can access world-class workouts from the comfort of your living room. The convenience factor is undeniable and it's making fitness accessible to everyone, regardless of their location or schedule. Say goodbye to crowded gyms and hith-a-oo to your own private fitness sanctuary.

Little side note about a year ago I had the opportunity to house sit for a client of mine that him and his family were getting away for a ski vacation. It was a wonderful opportunity because I had to go solo onto one of Vancouver's beautiful islands off the coast and house sit quite literally their place. Coolest part was they had a peloton. I was very familiar with peloton. Who didn't know about peloton? Especially during COVID? My goodness, we saw a lot of people jumping on that train. I was a little bit skeptical, if I'm honest, but for that week they also had a snowstorm. I was snowed in. It was just hilarious. I didn't even get to leave the place for a whole week. Thankfully, they had a bunch of food and they also had some chickens which I was tending to that's a whole other story but plenty of eggs to eat, so I was well nourished. I couldn't have the option to go outside to train, so I found myself using the peloton every day. I loved it. It was so cool. Honestly, it's very cool, from both the camaraderie aspect of connecting with others during live workouts to just connecting with people and instructors that are very motivating, inspirational, but at the same time also being highly educational.

I continue to see this trend increase year after year. Now, of course, not all platforms are the same. I do recommend that you do some trials. Make sure you find a community that you feel like you belong to, not just one that you have to join. It's easy to join, but to find a place you belong to much more challenging and it's going to take a bit more time. But give it the time it deserves because it could be a game changer for you.

Now, as we get close to the end of the list here, we're going to talk about trend number 1, and this is Holistic Health Integrations. It's a trend that's breaking down the silos of fitness and wellness. It's about recognizing that your health isn't just about diet and exercise. It's literally a complex web of factors, from sleep quality to stress management. Every aspect of your life plays a role in your well-being. In 2024, we're taking comprehensive approach to health and the results are extraordinary.

Dai Manuel:

You maybe have heard some of the past episodes I've shared about my own wellness journey and some of the important individuals that I've met along the way that have supported me with navigating some of the changes. With my immune system due to a chronic condition to just even hurt a couple times, well, let's say, one, two, three or 20. But having to work through that healing process and also looking to new ways of looking at my life and lifestyle and holistic lens. Through a holistic lens, I should say, because once you have that sort of broader view of your life and the pieces of your life, especially the things that are most important, you can start identifying where the weak links are, but also who are the people around you that maybe you're aware of or not aware of. That can start to support with some of those weak links, because if you strengthen the weaknesses, believe me, your strengths become even stronger. The whole body, mind and energy that makes us up will all feel the benefit.

And then, lastly, I hinted at this earlier when I was talking about tech and the advancement of tech, personalized fitness, ai. Yeah, I'm talking artificial intelligence, because brace yourselves for the future of fitness. Personalized fitness with artificial intelligence is quite literally, it's not only here, it's probably here to stay. Imagine having a virtual fitness coach that knows you better than you know yourself. This AI analyzes your goals, monitors your progress, especially if you're wearing various tracking devices, but it also adapts your workouts in real time based on the feedback it's getting through various tracking modalities. It's literally like having a personal trainer in your pocket 24, seven, where personalized fitness, ai, the excuses are literally out the window and your fitness journey becomes tailored to your needs.
